Individualized Care
As human beings, we are all messy and unique. Not one person is exactly like another. I honor you as the expert of your own experience and believe that therapy works best when it meets you where you are. We will work together to find what works best for you.

Therapy Modalities
-
Person Centered Therapy is grounded in the simple truth that you are the expert of your own experience. It is a compassionate approach to therapy that is warm, nonjudgmental, and supports you in the process of self-discovery. Motivational Interviewing is a therapeutic style designed to help people create positive change in their lives. Motivational Enhancement strategies help identify barriers and consider change in a positive way. Both styles lead to powerful and transformative self-discovery, giving you the insight and tools you need to create lasting and positive change in your life.

Eye-Movement-Desensitization-Reprocessing is one of the most highly sought and cutting-edge interventions in trauma therapy available today. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (eye movement, tapping, audio, etc) to access and process traumatic memories and other adverse life experiences to help bring them to an adaptive resolution. A Trauma Informed approach to care simply means that the therapist is mindful of and responsive to trauma symptoms. It is a gentle and respectful approach designed to help you feel safe in the therapeutic process.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps individuals embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or avoiding them. By focusing on mindfulness and personal values, ACT empowers people to develop psychological flexibility, reduce stress, and live a more meaningful life, even in the face of difficult emotions or experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most well-researched and proven methods in therapy. It helps people learn how to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns. By changing our thoughts we can change our feelings, our actions, and our outcomes in life.
